Rainbow Six Siege settings Archives

Not sure why or when this started happening and my graphic settings are not saved, the Documents/Game folder seems is not loaded and the settings reset when i leave the game and don't load again when it starts, i mean i love the game but i'm not going to play it like this, i have tried a bunch of stuff i have read on the forum but nothing seems to help, would like to know why this is happening. Thank you and any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem lately.
Found, that Win Defender blocked the access to documents folder
as soon as rainbow was fixed in the access app list, it worked again
I think a company like ubisoft should know this
At least the should now fix this

The top 10 teams in Europe are back, namely:

• Rogue
• Chaos Esports Club

Accordingly, $50,000 of prize is back on the line and starting from 21st September to the 19th of October, it’s anyone’s to win it. Again, the Round-Robin league format looks to determine the top 4 teams that’ll attend the Six Major, now in November. Here, $125,000 will be on the line together with continental dominance.

The schedule for the European League Season 1 Stage 2 is similar to the first stage. Chiefly, there are 9 playdays for the BO1 matches to be played out on.

In terms of predictions, it’s natural to put the top 4 teams from last season at the very top. Namely, Rogue, BDS Esports, G2 Esports and Virtus.pro are the largest threats.

Following their surprising win at the Six August Major, BDS Esports have pulled a lot of attention. Everyone else will be trying to prove it as a fluke.

Beyond that, by entering a second stage, the competition grows more familiar. Teams will become adapted to facing off against other opponents. Hence, the level of competition should increase.

Overwatch has done it and now Rainbow Six Siege. Indeed, the Rainbow Six World Cup is official. Announced yesterday, Ubisoft releasing the details has excited the community. Read on for the full details!

Planned for 2021, the Tier 1esport looks to take another step forward. Harking on some players’ love for showing off their nationality, such as notable Canadian player of “xQc“, it’s a chance for glory. Here are some awesome facts to note:

• A total of 45 countries will be represented
• 14 countries have a direct invite to the Final Stage, while the 31 others will fight for the 6 other spots
• Qualifiers will be in 2021, with the main event mid-2021

• The Rainbow Six World Cup is a separate entity to the current leagues
• Teams will be selected starting September 14th, by appointed national committees – 5 players for each team with a maximum of two players from the same organization

Overall, this is an incredible announcement and an event the community looks forward too. Indeed, Ubisoft can use national pride to help generate more attention and love for the game and the industry too. It looks to be one of the best events of next year.

Ubisoft have just announced that the Six November 2020 Major is set to be played online due to the current health situation around the world. Here is their announcement:

Six November Major online – Format

The Six November 2020 Major will be structured similarly to the Six August 2020 Major that was hosted a few weeks ago. The event will be featuring a regional format with one online Major per region (North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific). This will be the final step to earn points to qualify for the Six Invitational.

Six November 2020 Major Dates

Here below are the dates for all 4 regions (sorted by date of occurrence):

• Latin America: October 30th till November 1st
• Europe: Between the 6th and 8th of November
• North America: November 13 –15
• Asia-Pacific: From November 25th till the 29th

Prize pools

Due to the Six November 2020 Major being split in 4 regions, each region will consist of a different set amount of prize pool. They are as follows:

North America & Europe (total $125,000):

• 1st place: $62,500 – 50%
• 2nd place: $31,250 – 25%
• 3rd place: $18,750 – 15%
• 4th place: $12,500 – 10%

Latin America (total $100,000):

Brazil Division:

• 1st place: $50,000 – 40% 
• 2nd place: $25,000 – 20%
• 3rd place: $15,000 – 12%
• 4th place: $10,000 – 8%

Mexico Division final match:

• 1st place: $10,000 – 8%
• 2nd place: $7,000 – 5.6%

Following the incredible European Six August 2020 Major, where BDS Esports shocked the competition, we’re back in the game. Ubisoft just released a press release revealing all the details for the European League Stage 2 – arriving on 21st September. Here’s a breakdown!

This next stage of competition looks to be a final chance for European teams to garner qualification points for the Six Invitational. Running for a month, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

A total of $50,000 is on the line, though qualifying for the Six Major and the Six Invitational is simply way more compelling. Indeed, a strong showing in the final half of the year could be all a team needs.

The format for European League Stage 2 is similar to Stage 1. A BO1 round-robin league format will determine a top 4. This group of 4 will qualify to the regional Six Major.

As we previewed the event earlier, the Six August 2020 Major Europe event just concluded. The competitive Rainbow Six Siege event saw the top 4 teams in the continent battle it out online. Read on to see who came out on top!

Running through the weekend of August 21-23rd, a whopping $125,000 was on the line. Accordingly, from the double elimination bracket, here’s how the standings finished:

Indeed, our predictions for the event didn’t hold up. Naturally, this is due to BDS Esports denying everyone’s expectations while Rogue slumped. Actually, both BDS Esports and Rogue lost their semifinal match-ups. Accordingly, BDS Esports had to run through the remainder of the competition in the Lower Bracket.

The event all boiled down to a heart-racing series between G2 Esports and BDS Esports. Fighting until the last map, BDS clearly demonstrated an incredible hunger to win the Six August 2020 Major Europe.

Did anybody predict this? It’s likely that the entire community is shocked at the french team’s resilience. They’ll happily take their prize, including Six Invitational Points too.

With the weekend coming to an end, so will the North American Six August 2020 Major. DarkZero came out on top as winners after a stunning performance versus the best North American teams.

DarkZero win North America Six August 2020 Major – How did DarkZero do it?

First off, DarkZero were allowed to participate in the NA Six August 2020 Major due to their victory at the qualifier through the NAL. Afterwards, they were matched against Spacestation in the Semifinals. Spacestation won the first map (Consulate), 7-5 and up next as a 2nd map was Clubhouse. DarkZero came back stronger and won the map 7-4. They then moved on to the 3rd map  (Kafe Dostoyevsky) and DarkZero dominated once more, winning 7-3 and progressing through the upper bracket finals versus TSM.

TSM had just beaten Oxygen Esports 2-0 and were easily the favourites to win it all. Maps for the UB Final were Consulate and Clubhouse, and DarkZero popped off, winning 1st map 7-4 and the 2nd map 7-1. This meant that they advanced to the Grand Finals, and sent TSM back down to the losers bracket.

Finals

TSM faced off with Spacestation in the loser bracket final and won 2-1. This meant that they advanced to the Grand Final for a rematch versus DarkZero. The format for the Grand Final was a best of 5, and a default win given for DarkZero as they did not drop to the loser bracket. Maps were as follows: Kafe Dostoyevsky, Oregon, Consulate and Villa. The first map started off with a solid defense from TSM, as they were winning 4-2. However DarkZero responded with an even stronger defense to end the match 7-4 in their favor.

DarkZero were 2-0 up and Oregon was next, one of their best defender side maps. DarkZero had an exceptional performance on the defending side, winning 6-0 on defense. This startled TSM and after switching sides, they only managed to win 2 rounds on their defender side before DarkZero’s attack crippled them. Here are some of their highlights from the Grand Final:

DarkZero’s performance during the NA Six August 2020 Major was definitely a sight to behold. They are easily the best North American 6 Siege roster at the moment, and we can’t wait to see more of them in the future.

Undeniably, as a Tier 1 esport, competitive Rainbow Six Siege continues to thrive despite the online switch. Accordingly, the new format of the North American League involves a seasonal event to round off the past months of action. The Six August 2020 Major – North America is that event and it’s right around the corner. Read on to learn How to Watch the event!

Taking place for a total of four regions, it’s a notable calendar event for the esport. Namely, Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and North America all have their own versions. Accordingly, we’ll be tackling the North American version exclusively.

Indeed, the event runs from the 14th to the 16th August, with a total of $125,000 are on the line for the top 4 teams in North America. Two routes of qualification were offered to teams to reach this point. Initially, three teams earned their spot through a podium placing at the North American League Stage 1 event.

At the same event, 4-6th were allowed to fight through the Six Major NAL Qualifiers for the final spot.

Accordingly, the following are the four teams vying for the prize pool and regional dominance:

Spacestation Gaming – 1st at NAL

Team SoloMid – 2nd at NAL

Oxygen Esports – 3rd at NAL

DarkZero Esports – 4th at NAL, Qualifier Winner

Besides prize and pride, there are also Global Points on the line to garner qualification for the Six Invitational 2020.

Format

By all means, due to the fact that only four teams are present, the format is very similar and familiar. A classic double-elimination bracket looks to sort out the remaining competition in BO5 match-ups.

All in all, the entire event will conclude swiftly after just six matches in total. Let’s take a look at how these matches are spread out through the schedule.

Schedule

In terms of schedule, the three days are spread out well. Firstly, Day 1 packs all the Round 1 action. Accordingly, the two Winner Bracket matches will throw two teams into Losers where one will be eliminated.

Heading into the second day, the three remaining teams will be cut down to two. Two more match-ups will conclude the Grand Finalists, who’ll battle it out on Sunday 16th August.

Predictions

In terms of predictions, we’ll have to turn a page back to the North American League, Stage 1 season. Hence, we have a chance to outline how teams matched up against one another.

Overall, it would seem that Spacestation Gaming is in fact the favourite. Naturally, yes, they went flawless in the Winners Group. However, prior to that, in Phase 1, Oxygen Esports managed to sweep them convincingly in a 2-0 fashion. Due to this, Spacestation played out a Decider Match against Disrupt Gaming which went the distance. They were almost eliminated.

An opposing story sits with Oxygen Esports. A strong early performance in the Phase 1 group was undermined by an unfortunate performance in Phase 2. Losing out to both SSG and Team SoloMid, they could have potentially turned it around.

Thanks to identical performances in both Phases, Team SoloMid obtained second place twice – the most consistent showing from the four teams. Speaking of consistency, DarkZero Esports had none. Despite placing first in Phase 1, they ended Phase 2 without a single win.

Personally, bearing this in mind, I’d place DarkZero Esports at the bottom. When it comes to the top three, however, it becomes somewhat cloudy. Regardless, to win the event, my pick would be Spacestation Gaming. The championship-calibre roster has an incredible resume, for example:

• First at Pro League Season 11 – North America
• Six Invitational 2020 Champion
• 1st United States Nationals 2019

Otherwise, TSM and Oxygen can fight for second and third all they want. At the end of the day it will all depend on how badly the teams wish to win.

Accordingly, with the Six August 2020 Major on the horizon, Ubisoft has made changes. In a recent press release, some specifics have had to be altered. Read on for the complete preview!

The Six August 2020 Major event acts as a conclusion to the first stage of each regional league. Indeed, the following four regions have their very own schedule:

• Asia-Pacific: August 3-9th
• Latin America: August 7-9th
• North America: August 14-16th
